Job summary

Oklahoma State University, Health Center in Stillwater, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary medical and health services under approved protocols. The role requires an NP or PA, with appropriate Oklahoma licensure and prescriptive authority for NP candidates.

About This Position

The position will provide primary medical and health services to patients of the Health Center. The person will work under approved protocols and the approval of the Medical Director. Graduate of an accredited school or program for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Nurse Practitioner must have a Master's Degree and prescriptive authority. Must have an Oklahoma License and Certification appropriate to field of study. Potential exposure to infectious materials; substances; bio hazards including HIV, hepatitis, latex, etc. Lifting required as needed to assist patients.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Graduate of an accredited school or program for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Nurse Practitioner must have a Master's Degree and prescriptive authority. Must have an Oklahoma License and Certification appropriate to field of study.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses

• Certification appropriate to credential – Current Oklahoma PA or NP License registrations, or licenses required as a prerequisite of employment.
• DEA Certificate, BNDD Certificate – Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain before beginning work.
