Job summary

Complete Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Mid-Level Practitioner (NP or PA) to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers direct patient care across specialties in a physician-led, supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have NP or PA degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Ohio NP or PA license.
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
  • Current Ohio DEA registration.
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and medical histories.
  • Conduct physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments per Ohio law and DEA regulations.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.
  • Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Position Summary

The Mid-Level Practitioner functions as an essential member of the healthcare team by providing direct patient care, evaluating and treating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring all services meet established clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • Master's or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Current Ohio Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
  • Current Ohio DEA registration.
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in Addiction Medicine, Primary Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Women's Health.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
