Job summary

Diné Development Corporation is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to operate, administer, and secure enterprise networks across government locations. The role covers LAN, WAN, cloud networking, firewalls, routing, and network security, with emphasis on reliability and security.

Responsibilities include configuring Palo Alto firewalls, NetApp storage, VPNs, and routing; monitoring performance and capacity; and ensuring compliance with STIGs and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, CS or related
• Active Secret clearance
• Cisco and/or Palo Alto networking/security certifications strongly desired

Responsibilities

• Operate, administer, and secure networks as the Mid-level Network Engineer assigned.
• Support design, implementation, and management of LAN, WAN, and cloud network architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes, and optimize network infrastructure for performance, reliability, availability, and scalability
• Plan, implement, and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
• Support network upgrades, expansions, migrations, and infrastructure changes with minimal operational impact
