Job summary

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will design, develop, and maintain tools and services for our product suite (GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, GitLab Runner, Jupyter, SPARTANDESK).

You will work with cross-functional teams—developers, sysadmins, PMs, and mission customers—to deliver integrated solutions that boost productivity and streamline workflows. U.S. citizen with TS/SCI security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years SWE experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years SWE experience
• 7+ years SWE experience in similar scope and complexity
• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience writing Bash/Python/PHP scripts to automate tasks
• Extensive Java development experience
• Experience with CI/CD and GitLab
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Git and source control

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services for the project’s product suite (GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, GitLab Runner, Jupyter, SPARTANDESK).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including software developers, sysadmins, project managers, and mission customers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
• Create documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
