Job summary

Stantec Architecture & Interior Design in Boston is seeking a talented Mid-level Interior Designer. You will translate client needs into interior design solutions, produce 2D/3D drawings, and present concepts with colleagues. The role supports the architectural team on space planning, palettes, FFE, and documentation.

Hybrid schedule with in-office presence required (minimum 24 hours per week). A minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience and strong BIM proficiency are expected,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and supporting modeling software.
• Knowledge of building construction systems, constructability, materials and industry standards.
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and Newforma.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors to meet project objectives and ensure design intent.
• Develop finish palettes, furniture packages, and presentation materials for client and internal review.
• Produce design and construction drawings.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Work closely with delivery team to meet the client’s schedule.
• Develop material palette and perform product research; assist project designers and project architects with materials selection.
