Mid-Level Intelligence Collection Manager

The Mid-Level Intelligence Collection Manager will support intelligence operations by evaluating collection requirements, developing and managing Multi-INT collection strategies, identifying intelligence gaps, and coordinating collection activities across multiple intelligence disciplines. This position works closely with all-source analysts, operational personnel, and Intelligence Community partners to ensure collection efforts effectively support mission priorities and intelligence production.

Essential Job Functions
  • Receive, review, and evaluate intelligence requirements.
  • Assess collection resource availability, capabilities, and capacity.
  • Research, develop, draft, coordinate, monitor, and assign collection requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Multi-INT collection strategies to address identified intelligence gaps.
  • Design operational activities, provide recommendations, and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of various operational scenarios.
  • Utilize multiple technical collection systems, both independently and collaboratively, to satisfy intelligence collection requirements.
  • Assess and analyze intelligence reporting to determine its effectiveness in addressing established requirements.
  • Collaborate with all-source analysts to identify unmet, emerging, and new intelligence requirements.
  • Update and refine collection plans based on mission priorities, intelligence gaps, and available reporting.
  • Provide on-site support for all-source intelligence analysis by submitting collection requirements across multiple intelligence disciplines, including:
  • Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT)
  • Plan and coordinate a full spectrum of blended operations and support activities for Continental United States (CONUS) and/or Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) operations.
  • Conduct in-depth research on existing operations and intelligence assessments using all-source information.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, analytical, counterintelligence, and other government organizations to maintain the integrity of ongoing operations.
  • Provide operational guidance and recommendations in support of ongoing activities.
  • Brief leadership on the status, progress, and effectiveness of operations and collection activities.
Required Skills
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of that experience gained within the last two (2) years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and technical proficiency, reflecting completion of required developmental training and relevant experience.
  • Ability to analyze and clearly communicate insights derived from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, technically advanced, or seemingly unrelated.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis using reporting trends while incorporating diverse analytical perspectives across analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across the Intelligence Community (IC), including information sharing, driving collection efforts, and resolving analytical disputes.
  • Demonstrated experience producing clear, insightful, and comprehensive analytic products in support of defense intelligence.
  • Proven ability to lead analytic teams addressing complex or critical intelligence problems.
  • Experience guiding the selection, design, and application of analytic methodologies, including evaluating arguments and applying validated analytic techniques to challenge assumptions and competing perspectives.
