Job description

Mid Level Intelligence Analyst (IA Analyst II) – contingent position, contingent upon funding. Location: Alexandria/Springfield, Virginia. Requires active TS/SCI clearance (ability to obtain SAP access). The role supports the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) program and involves developing an integrated Army response through multi‑domain intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Using open‑source intelligence methods to illuminate risk in the production supply chains of military systems.
• Using classified and unclassified sources to produce research on specific military programs.
• Using classified and unclassified sources to produce research on specific military research efforts.
• Conduct all‑source analysis of adversary capabilities to inform system development, TTPs, and CONOPS.
• Fuse data from HUMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, OSINT, and GEOINT to develop actionable intelligence and threat assessments.
• Deliver timely, detailed intelligence reports and briefings to government stakeholders, including acquisition and engineering teams.
• Assess the operational environment and adversary employment of systems in support of test events, red teaming, and modeling/simulation efforts.
• Support SAP programs with high‑level situational awareness and threat validation across multiple warfighting domains.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineers, program managers, and warfighters to support Joint and Army interoperability efforts.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of relevant all‑source intelligence experience, including support to acquisition or R&D programs.
• Experience analyzing military systems and capabilities.
• Excellent analytical writing and oral briefing skills.

Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Political Science, National Security or related field.
• Experience in formal intelligence production.

Clearance

Active TS/SCI (ability to obtain SAP access)

Salary

Approx. $104-135k, commensurate with education, experience and background.
