Job summary

CALIBRE Systems Inc. seeks a Mid-level Information System Security Developer to design, develop, test, and evaluate information system security across the life cycle.

You will analyze design constraints, apply security controls to interfaces, assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, identify threats and vulnerabilities, and document security designs and back-up plans. Requirements include US citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility, IAT/IAM/IASAE Level 3

Qualifications

• Designing countermeasures to identified security risks.
• Designing security controls based on cybersecurity principles.
• Designing the integration of hardware and software solutions.
• Developing and applying security system access controls.
• Discerning the protection needs of information systems and networks.
• Evaluating the adequacy of security designs.
• Conducting audits or reviews of technical systems.
• Integrating and applying policies that meet system security objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design constraints, analyze trade-offs and detailed system and security design, and consider life cycle support.
• Apply security policies to applications that interface with one another (e.g., B2B).
• Assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures utilized by systems.
• Assess threats to and vulnerabilities of computer systems to develop a security risk profile.
• Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) of the security design for appropriate controls.
