Job summary

Jobsity, LLC. is seeking a Mid-Level Go Backend Engineer to build and maintain microservices and REST APIs for a high-traffic platform. You will take ownership of tasks, ensure code quality, and participate in incident troubleshooting.

The role requires strong Go skills, microservices expertise, and solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis. You will engage in code reviews and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable backend services.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Mid-Level Go Backend Engineer to build and maintain microservices and REST APIs for a high-traffic platform. The role requires independent task ownership, solid knowledge of microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and code quality practices, along with active participation in code reviews, incident troubleshooting, and the use of agentic coding tools.

The position requires full overlap with Italian business hours.

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Go as the primary backend language, including building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices architectures, service communication through REST APIs and message brokers, and core patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Bulkhead, and Rate Limiting.
• Intermediate experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases) and Redis (or similar caching solutions).
