SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer to support a DoD IAC operation on a short-term project. The role is remote in the United States, with eligibility for Secret clearance and a salary range of $65–$75 per hour depending on experience and education.

The position emphasizes planning with UI/UX designers, front-end and back-end development, and deployment to Azure or AWS cloud environments, with a travel expectation of about 5% and comprehensive benefits as part

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and API design with JavaScript/NodeJS.
• UI design and implementation using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular or React.

Responsibilities

• Plan with UI/UX designers to create wireframes and UI flows.
• Collaborate with PM to set deadlines and track progress.
• Write efficient, standards-based code and deploy to environments.
• Maintain documentation, changelogs, and user guides.
• Respond to change requests and perform security impact assessments.
• Deploy code to development and production environments.
• Document lessons learned to improve development processes.
• Deploy web app to IL4 Azure cloud environments.

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer to support our DoD IAC operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

• Planning with UI/UX designers to help produce wireframes, storyboards, and UI flow charts
• Working with a project manager to set deadlines and evaluate progress
• Writing efficient code using standard practices
• Working independently and in a team environment as required
• Maintaining software documentation, changelogs, and user guides
• Responding to software change requests (SCR) and performing a security impact assessment
• Deploying code to development and production environments
• Documenting information, experiences, and lessons-learned to increase efficiency of the software development processes
• Azure or AWS deployment of web application to an Impact Level 4 (IL4) Azure cloud environment

Minimum Qualifications Of Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Field of Study and 3+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications.

Desired Experience

• 3-5 years of experience with relational database architecture such as MySQL or MariaDB
• 3 -5 years of API design experience using JavaScript or JavaScript API frameworks (NodeJS)
• 3 to 5 years of experience with user interface design and implementation using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks (Angular or React)
