Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with hands-on Drupal experience to support a government web platform. You will work across Drupal front-end theming, back-end Python/Java, and Linux systems administration in a FedRAMP‑compliant cloud environment.

Local candidates are preferred, but remote work will be considered. The role emphasizes secure, scalable development and close collaboration with client technical experts in an Agile SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Drupal development and administration in a FedRAMP‑compliant cloud environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Java, Linux, SQL and related technologies, including backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack development for a Drupal-driven public-facing web platform, spanning front-end theming and Drupal configuration, custom modules, APIs, Python/Java back‑end services, databases, and integrations.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade Drupal applications, including theming, content models, configuration, and security updates.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python applications and Linux-based services, with Java for integrations and legacy components as needed.
• Develop and support APIs, ETL processes, file-transfer workflows, JDBC/database connectivity, and integrations between Drupal and enterprise systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the Drupal application and Linux environment, including memory usage and production issues.
• Apply secure, scalable, accessible, and maintainable development practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.

Precise Software Solutions Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with hands‑on experience in Drupal to support and enhance a public‑facing government web platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full stack, from front-end theming and content management in Drupal to back‑end Python and Java development and Linux systems administration, and can troubleshoot issues confidently across all of these layers. Local candidates are preferred; remote candidates will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack development for a Public facing Drupal-driven web platform, spanning Drupal front-end development and configuration, custom modules, APIs, Python/Java back‑end services, databases, and external system integrations.
• Develop, customize, maintain, and upgrade Drupal applications, including theming, content models, configuration, custom/contributed modules, integrations, security updates, and Drupal best practices.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python applications, services, and automation running in production Linux environments, with Java used as needed for integrations and legacy components.
• Develop and support APIs, ETL processes, file‑transfer workflows, JDBC/database connectivity, and integrations between Drupal, back‑end services, and enterprise systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the Drupal application and Linux environment, including application errors, memory utilization, batch jobs, performance, and production issues.
• Apply secure, scalable, accessible, and maintainable development practices, including source control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with client technical experts and business users throughout the SDLC, working in an Agile framework to design, develop, demonstrate, and refine solutions based on client feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Drupal development and administration, including full‑stack development in a FedRAMP‑compliant cloud environment; strong working knowledge of Drupal architecture, configuration, modules, theming, and development best practices is required.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Python, Java, Linux, SQL, and related technologies, including development and support of back‑end services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot enterprise production public facing web platforms and environments, including Linux systems, memory utilization, batch jobs, file transfers, JDBC/database connectivity, ETL processes, and cloud‑based government systems.
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing and supporting Drupal and/or enterprise web applications, including full‑stack development in AWS or other FedRAMP‑compliant cloud environments.
• Drupal, AWS, or other relevant cloud/platform certifications.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) as part of a professional software development workflow, including coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
