Position
Title: Mid. Level ETL Developer
Start Date: Early July 2026 (Standard: 7/15/2026)
Location: Must be local to Sacramento, CA region; works onsite but primarily remote. Office hours 8am–6pm, Monday–Friday.
Job Type: W2 Employee
Compensation: DOE; salary range $80k–$105k or hourly $50–$60. Benefits package included.
Pre‑employment Requirements: Professional references, I‑9 eligibility, successful criminal background and drug screen. No visa sponsorship.
Required Skills
- 5+ years as an ETL Developer or Data Integration Developer.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Hands‑on PostgreSQL skills: query optimization, data modeling, performance tuning.
- Data quality validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and monitoring.
- Strong SQL development and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
- Experience with large datasets and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Health Care/Health Data environments.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience using Azure Data Studio.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and MSSQL extensions/plugins.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices for data management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Create and optimize PostgreSQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Perform data quality checks and enforce data validation procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, database, and data integrity issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
- Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of enterprise data platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience with public sector or healthcare data projects.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
