Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in consulting engineering or the AEC industry.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC, energy codes, and applicable building codes.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering studies, system evaluations, and schematic designs for new and existing facilities.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and outside consultants throughout all phases of a project.
• Perform field investigations, document existing conditions, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Review project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Participate in client meetings and present engineering solutions and recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and conduct site observations during construction.
• Ensure project documentation complies with applicable electrical codes, standards, and LK Architecture quality expectations.
