• Frontend: React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Data: PostgreSQL or SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems
• Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code
• Conduct peer code reviews to help keep the codebase sane
• API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use
• Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles

Must-Have Skills

System Design

Understanding database normalization, load balancing, and basic microservices

DevOps

Ability to debug a failing CI/CD pipeline and manage environment variables safely

Testing

Writing unit tests and End-to-End tests as standard practice

Soft Skills

Explaining technical trade-offs to product managers and mentoring junior developers

Requirements
