Fox Rothschild LLP in New York, NY is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join our national team and handle a broad range of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters for domestic and international clients.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of AmLaw 100 experience, is licensed in New York, and excels in drafting, negotiating, and advising on mergers, capital markets, private equity, and corporate governance.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
• Must be licensed in the State of New York.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and capital markets/corporate finance, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital financings, complex M&A and securities law compliance, corporate formations, and corporate governance matters.
• Guided companies through successful financing rounds, and complex corporate M&A and commercial transactions.
• Independently manages significant portions of transactions, including demonstrated ability to manage deal teams of other associates and subject matter experts.

Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the New York, NY office for a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join our dynamic national team and handle a broad range of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated transactions for domestic and international companies, private equity funds, corporate strategic investors and entrepreneurs, as well as skills development and marketing development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have completed at least four to seven years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm, will have interest in supporting senior attorneys, and desire and aptitude to work closely with founders and CEOs, while developing a practice.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed in the State of New York.

• Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and capital markets/corporate finance, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital financings, complex M&A and securities law compliance, corporate formations, and corporate governance matters.
• Guided companies through successful financing rounds, and complex corporate M&A and commercial transactions.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $250,000 - $290,000
