LJB Inc. is seeking a Mid-level Design Engineer to support municipal, transportation, and water/wastewater projects in the Dallas, TX region. The role requires a 4+ year track record, a Civil Engineering degree, and Texas PE certification.

You will design a wide range of projects, manage budgets, lead teams, and engage with clients and regulators to deliver quality, compliant engineering solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Texas PE Certification.
• 4+ years of experience in civil/municipal design.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and design a wide range of municipal projects.
• Support business development by identifying upcoming capital projects and strengthening client relationships.
• Prepare, review, and manage scope of services, budgets, schedules and subconsultant efforts; draft proposals and agreements.
• Manage multiple projects and delegate tasks to staff.
• Develop day-to-day staff schedules and manage project budgets.
• Independently perform, evaluate, and review engineering calculations and analyses.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, permit applications, bid documents and other written communications.
• Review and troubleshoot plans, hydrologic/hydraulic models, and calculations.
• Conduct peer reviews of subdivision and site plan applications for municipal clients.
• Interpret design guidelines, regulations, and permit requirements.
• Attend design team, client, and regulatory review meetings.
• Interact with staff, clients, contractors, and regulatory officials.
• Manage schedules and deliverables to exceed client expectations.
• Process invoices and manage contract amendments and receivables.
• Seek innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
