Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an on-site Automotive Technician to perform essential vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. You will diagnose issues, conduct road tests, and carry out brake repairs, fluid flushes and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career advancement, skill development, and training. A valid license and ASE certification are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to continue learning new automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections and maintenance.
• Diagnose system issues, conduct road tests and verify repairs.
• Complete brake repairs, fluid exchanges and preventative maintenance.
• Execute wheel alignments and tire installations when needed.
• Document all work on repair orders and report safety issues promptly.
• Provide clear guest communication and guidance to junior technicians.
• Support teamwork to deliver timely, accurate guest care during all hours.
