Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers by applying a mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and deliver outstanding guest service. This role focuses on learning brakes, alignments, system diagnostics, tire installation, and preventive maintenance while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. with no company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred: ASE Certification and knowledge of electrical, A/C and fuel ignition systems.

Responsibilities

Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and problem solving.
Demonstrate guest service, communicate clearly about vehicle status and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Document all work performed on repair orders and maintain safety standards.
Assist with tire installation, brake repairs and wheel alignments as required.
