Job summary

Redda Group seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join its professional services team. The role involves supporting patent litigation through all case phases and working with technical experts on high-profile telecom disputes involving 4G/5G standards.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. with bar membership and 3–5 years of patent litigation and PTAB/IPR experience, plus a bachelor’s in E.E./C.E./CS. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Support patent litigation matters through all phases of case development.
• Assist with Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings before the PTAB.
• Analyze patents, prior art, and wireless communication technologies.
• Draft motions, briefs, petitions, and other legal filings.
• Collaborate with technical experts and clients on complex telecommunications matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership.
• 3-5 years of patent litigation and PTAB/IPR experience.
• Minimum 2 years of substantive patent litigation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with 4G/5G telecommunications technologies and industry standards required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Patent prosecution experience.
• USPTO registration number.
• Experience with LTE, 5G NR, wireless standards, or standard-essential patents (SEPs).
