Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Tampa, Florida seeks an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to new and revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team.

You will participate in systems analysis, design, coding, testing, and support, working with users and other technology groups to implement solutions while managing deadlines and maintaining risk controls. Requirements include 2–5 years in financial services, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Financial Services.
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define necessary system enhancements using script tools and code analysis.
• Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Identify problems and implement solutions with guided autonomy.
• Assess risk and drive compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
