The AI Engineer will design, train, and analyze ML/AI systems, collaborate across teams, and help educate non-data-science colleagues on AI value and limitations.

You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to proposals while working in a fast-paced environment focused on tangible product delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, math, physics, or a related field (or bachelor’s degree plus 2 additional years of experience).
• Ability to identify, understand, and apply relevant research literature.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Strong software development fundamentals in Python and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI solutions and navigate difficult tradeoffs.
• Identify and design training data sets for ML models.
• Implement and customize AI models from open literature.
• Visualize and communicate results in written and oral form.
• Brief technical concepts to non-specialist audiences.
• Lead junior engineers and contribute across multiple teams.
