Raydeo Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Millwork CAD Drafter for Commercial Construction to join our team in the Southeast.

The role focuses on leading drafting efforts for high-end millwork, coordinating with PreCon and Project Management, and ensuring AWI-compliant drawings. Candidates should be proficient with Microvellum, AutoCAD 3D, and Inventor, with strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• AWI certification with ability to read, engage and interpret plans, specs, and pricing to break down and manage a team of draftsmen toward completion of complex high end millwork projects.
• Group and direct the positioning and layout of drawings to meet AWI specifications and company requirements.
• Direct collection of samples and prototypes used in approval and review processes.
• Review, advise and amend drawing packages with understanding of sold vs specified vs amended items.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of drafters to complete high-end millwork projects.
• Coordinate drawings to AWI specs and company requirements for easy review.
• Direct collection of samples and content for approval and purchasing processes.
• Collaborate with PreCon and Project Management for pricing and scope review prior to submittal.
• Ensure drawings reflect value engineering during quoting and build review.
• Maintain clear written and oral communications with clients and subcontractors.

It is preferred candidates have college degree, but exceptional experience and exceptional computer skills are acceptable upon portfolio review and interview.

Current software in use are Microvellum, AutoCAD 3D and Inventor

Submittal Requirements

1. AWI certification with the ability to read, engage and interpret plans, specs, and pricing to break down and manage a team of draftsmen towards the completion of complex high end millwork projects. This includes material selections and vendor positioning prior to supply chain processing.
2. Group and direct the positioning and layout of drawings to meet AWI specifications as well company requirements that make sense and make for easy review.
3. 1. Direct collection of samples and prototypes used in in approval and review process.
   2. Direct collection of specified content for use in review, approval, and purchasing process.

1. Review, advise and amend drawing packages with a clear understanding what is sold, what was specified and what was amended via Value added and Value engineered processes during quoting and build review.
2. Group and direct completion of submittal drawings that can be easily reviewed and approved by project authority.
   1. Direct combination of samples for easy review and purposeful presentation.
   2. Direct coalition of specified content for easy review, approval, and use.
   3. Coordinate with PreCon and Project Management team for pricing and scope review prior to submittal.
