Job summary

Harcros Chemicals, an employee-owned chemical company, seeks a Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Defender security implementations. You will drive licensing efficiency, governance, and adoption of Power Apps and Power Automate.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience administering: Microsoft 365, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory/Entra ID, Power Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, Exchange

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of the Microsoft 365 environment, including configuration, licensing, governance, and platform management.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, utilization, and renewal optimization to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Administer Exchange Online, including mail flow, security, shared resources, retention, and related policies.
  • Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive, including site architecture, permissions, external sharing, storage, and content lifecycle management.
  • Administer Microsoft Teams, including governance, access, meetings, voice, applications, and Teams Phone.
  • Support migrations of file shares and legacy content to SharePoint Online and Teams, including planning, permissions, cutover, and user readiness.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Copilot, including licensing, data readiness, governance, permissions, and adoption.

Job Summary

The Microsoft Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of the organization's Microsoft 365 environment. This role supports end users while managing Microsoft cloud services, identity management, collaboration platforms, and productivity tools. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, cloud technologies, automation, and cybersecurity best practices, along with a customer-focused approach to supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of the Microsoft 365 environment, including configuration, licensing, governance, and platform management.

Qualifications

Required 3-5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience
