Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Administrator to design, administer, secure, and optimize its Microsoft cloud environment.

You will ensure stable, secure operation of Microsoft 365, Intune endpoint management, and Azure infrastructure while collaborating with security and IT teams to support organizational objectives and compliance. You will design and maintain the 365 tenant, monitor service health, administer AD/Azure, manage licensing and compliance, and implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT/CS
• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure administration experience
• Preferred certifications: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, and/or Microsoft Endpoint Administrator

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and optimize the Microsoft 365 tenant including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and more
• Monitor service health, manage service requests, and coordinate change management within Microsoft 365
• Administer Active Directory, Azure Synchronization, and Enterprise SSO integrations
• Serve as escalation point for Microsoft 365 SharePoint sites
• Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, usage optimization, and compliance
• Administer Intune policies, compliance policies, and configuration profiles
• Implement and manage Windows Update policies via Intune and resolve update issues
• Collaborate with security teams to monitor security posture and use Defender tools and integrated SIEM
• Provision and manage Azure resources: VMs, storage, databases, networking
• Implement Azure security controls and monitor cost optimization
• Maintain Azure VMs, backups, patching, and performance
• Support domain controllers, DNS, file servers, firewalls, and backup systems
• Document configurations and changes per IT standards
• May perform other duties as assigned

The Microsoft Cloud Administrator is responsible for the design, administration, security, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s Microsoft cloud environment. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient operation of Microsoft 365, Intune endpoint management, and Azure infrastructure, while collaborating with security and IT teams to support organizational objectives, ensure compliance, and deliver reliable cloud services.

• Design, administer, and maintain the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 mobile applications.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, manage service requests, and coordinate change management activities within the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure Synchronization, Manage Enterprise SSO integrations
• Serve as escalation point for Microsoft 365 SharePoint sites.
• Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, usage optimization, and compliance.
• Administer Intune policies, compliance policies, and configuration profiles.
• Implement and manage Windows Update policies through Intune and resolve update‑related issues.
• Collaborate with security teams to monitor security posture, review security scores, and utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Conditional Access, and integrated SIEM tools such as Elastic SIEM.
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components.
• Implement Azure security controls to safeguard applications, data, and user access.
• Manage Azure resource utilization and develop cost optimization strategies.
• Maintain Azure virtual machines, including backups, patching, updates, and performance monitoring.
• Support and maintain critical infrastructure services such as domain controllers, DNS, file servers, firewalls, and backup systems.
• Document configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with IT standards.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Azure administration experience.
• Perferred Certifications: Azure Adminstrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, and/or Microsfot Endpoint Adminstrator.
• Strong experience with cloud security best practices and identity management.
