Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Azure Specialist with 10+ years of cloud engineering expertise to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise Azure solutions. You will lead cloud architecture, automation, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and modernization initiatives, mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.

The role is 100% remote in the U.S. with a direct W2 employment model and a salary range of $150,000–$190,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT and cloud engineering experience, including 5+ years designing Azure environments.
• Deep expertise in Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and PaaS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for IaC.
• Strong experience deploying and managing AKS in production environments.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience implementing Azure governance, monitoring, security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Architect enterprise-grade Azure networking solutions (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer).
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade AKS clusters and container workloads.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement Azure security best practices, including Entra ID, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, RBAC, Zero Trust.

• Monitor using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights; drive reliability and cost optimization.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions while providing technical leadership for cloud architecture, automation, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Architect enterprise-grade Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Load Balancer.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloads.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support automated application deployments.
• Implement Azure security best practices, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights while driving reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to establish cloud governance and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and provide technical leadership on enterprise cloud initiatives.

• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Azure DevOps Engineer Expert , or other advanced Azure certifications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of FinOps , cloud governance, cost optimization, and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience supporting regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
• Familiarity with GitOps, container security, and enterprise DevSecOps practices.
