Job description

Overview

ISS provides Time‑resolved Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopes, driving innovation in hardware (time‑ and frequency‑domain data acquisition) and software (phasor analysis). The Microscopy Product Specialist will perform installations of FLIM and FFS platforms, instrument demonstrations, sales support, in‑house and on‑site customer training, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Installation of microscopy systems.
• Participating in trade shows, conferences and user meetings.
• Visiting sales opportunities for technical presentations.
• Assisting Sales in closing orders.
• Maintaining demo lab instruments.
• Performing demos and training.
• Providing phone and on‑site customer support.
• Contributing to manuals and marketing materials.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, life sciences or related field.
• Proven ability with confocal microscopy operation, troubleshooting, installation and repair.
• Willingness to be mentored and to learn new applications.
• Excellent oral and written English communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to build productive relationships.
• Highly self‑motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility.
• Ability to complete training requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
