Job summary

Radiance Technologies in Ruston, LA is seeking a talented engineer to join the Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group. You will design and test PCBs, simulate analog circuits, and prototype designs on FPGAs while researching hardware vulnerabilities and security techniques.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent field; two years can substitute for Master’s degree.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain TS security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and test PCBs and analog/digital circuits; prototype on FPGA.
• Research hardware security topics including side-channel analysis and anti-tamper techniques.
• Conduct hardware vulnerability analysis and testing in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on hardware research projects.

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for a talented candidate to join our Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group. This person will provide technical research and microelectronics design with an emphasis on hardware security and testing. This person will work with a multi-disciplined team involving research into microelectronic trends and hardware vulnerabilities including hardware exploitation, side-channel attacks, and anti-tamper techniques. This person will be required to design and test printed circuit boards (PCBs), design and simulate analog circuits, and prototype designs on a field programmable gate array (FPGA). This person needs to have innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills, and adaptive thinking. They will need to have strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. They must work well in a fast-paced mission-driven environment.

Required Qualifications

• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant technical field (Two years of hardware engineering experience can substitute for the Master’s degree)
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance
• Must be detail oriented with respect to work organization and documentation
• Ability to efficiently evaluate and solve problems
• Must be self-motivated and work well on a team both local and distributed
