Microbulk Truck Driver

Salt Lake City, UT, United States | req31060 1st shift; Class A CDL; DOT/FMCSR

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will provide a high standard of customer service during deliveries, including unloading products and reloading empty cylinders.
• This role requires driving constitutes approximately 30% of the day, with the remainder involving deliveries, cylinder handling, shipping orders, paperwork, customer contact, and vehicle inspections.
• You will need to accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up and complete Hazardous Material shipping orders in accordance with DOT/TC regulations.
• You will placard vehicles according to hazardous material regulations and Linde standards.
• This role requires you to conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and identify and ensure timely vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• You will operate a variety of equipment and regularly interface with both internal and external customers.
• Use handheld computers for customer transactions and compliance needs, following a computer‑generated route and sequence delivery plan.

What Makes You Great

• You have a high School GED and must be 21 years or older.
• You have two (2) years of driving experience or completed a truck driver training course with equipment similar to Linde's.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
• No alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years.
• You have a current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Current Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire is required.
• You have the ability to read and write in English.
