Job summary

AnazaoHealth is seeking a highly-motivated Microbiology Technician to join the Quality Assurance Team. The entry-level role performs daily environmental monitoring in 503B clean rooms, handling samples, data entry, and test plates through the testing process.

Shifts include 6:00am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm. The position supports audits, documentation, and adherence to cGMP standards within our QA operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with 1 year related experience or training.
  • Science degree is highly recommended for this role.
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily viable and non-viable environmental testing in clean rooms.
  • Enter test data and manage movement of testing samples per procedures.
  • Assist with data entry and trend analysis activities.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP.
  • Support growth promotion testing and incoming media plate inspections.
  • Use metrology equipment like calipers and analytical balances as needed.

About the job

We are seeking a highly-motivated Microbiology Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team.

Performs the daily environmental monitoring activities for the 503B clean rooms. This includes taking the samples, entering the test data, and controlling the test plates throughout the testing process. This is an entry level position.

Shift Hours: (1) 6:00am-2:30pm and (2) 2:30pm-11:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

  • Plans and implements daily viable and non-viable environmental testing in the controlled environments
  • Performs duties in accordance with established policies & procedures for the storage, testing & handling of microbial test samples
  • Performs record keeping of test results and movement of testing samples in accordance with established procedures
  • Assists with data entry and trend analysis activities
  • Observes facility clean room personnel and performs monthly audits to assure compliance to company standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements
  • Work with Quality Director, Microbiologist, and EM/Microbiology Supervisor, and any other personnel needed to ensure quality system and environmental monitoring programs are implemented completely
  • Perform document and process reviews as assigned by management
  • Perform in-process inspection activities associated with drug product manufacturing and batch record documentation
  • Assist with Growth Promotion testing of incoming media plates and post fill media fills
  • Perform incoming inspections of newly received media plates
  • Ability to use metrology equipment (i.e. calipers, analytical balance, etc.)

Qualified Candidates Will Have:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Science degree highly recommended
  • Ability to use computer programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
