We are looking for a Microbiology Technician at 2057 Builders Place, Columbus, OH 43204 USA. Your mission will be to:
The incumbent prepares samples for processing and maintains documentation of processes to facilitate testing procedures.
The pay for this role is $18.50 hourly, with potential shifts of Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat, starting between 10 am-11 am. Overtime is available as the typical workweek is 45 hours.
Qualifications include a HS diploma and 1+ years of equivalent work experience; an AA is preferred. Basic knowledge of science, personal computers, laboratory safety procedures, and planning skills are necessary. Time management, attention to detail, analytical skills, and physical dexterity are essential. The work environment is a laboratory setting with exposure to fumes, chemicals, and materials, requiring safety equipment and physical effort such as lifting up to 50 pounds and extended standing.
