Qualifications

• Graduate degree in microbiology, biology, or a closely related field.
• Academic or professional expertise in microbiology.
• Demonstrated ability or potential to teach undergraduate microbiology lecture and laboratory courses.
• Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the university's mission as described in our Statement of Faith.
• Values an environment that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom and engages global concerns.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate microbiology lecture and laboratory courses.
• Develop and maintain high-quality laboratory and classroom experiences in microbiology.
• Teach additional courses within the Math and Science Department based on departmental needs and areas of expertise.
• Develop course schedules, syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
• Support undergraduate research and experiential learning opportunities.
• Participate in departmental and university service and contribute to program growth.
• Perform biblical integration in alignment with Corban University's Statement of Faith.
• Collaborate with department chair to ensure instructional alignment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
