Qualifications

• Microbiology experience strongly preferred.
• PRN, As Needed position.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests in microbiology to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate manual or automated instrumentation and calibrate equipment per SOPs.
• Process patient samples with proper identification and documentation.
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing as required by regulatory agencies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and participate in lab inspections and safety trainings.
• Provide guidance to students, interns, or staff as needed.
