Job summary

Technical Safety Services (TSS) is hiring a Micro Lab Tech to support environmental monitoring and microbiology testing. You will assist accessioning, enumerate samples, and identify viable environmental specimens under supervisor guidance.

Responsibilities include performing tests, collecting data, reporting results, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures for hazardous materials in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science degree preferred.
• Experience in basic microbiology lab settings is expected.
• Strong customer service and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine tests using appropriate equipment.
• Execute test procedures and protocols accurately.
• Collect and report valid results with minimal variability.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for management.
• Calibrate equipment and perform quality control as needed.
• Work in compliance with safety guidelines for hazardous materials.
