Qualifications

• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to testify in court regarding testing activities if subpoenaed.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of laboratory tests by manual methods or use of various automated, mechanical or electronic devices.
• Performs the full range of duties from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting, in order to provide data for use in detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Is accountable for accurate results.
