Job summary

Qualifications

• CLS trainee awaiting licensure must be restricted to specimen processing duties.
• LIS access may be set up at trainee level.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiology tests including cultures, gram stains, rapid antigen testing, and limited AFB, mycology, and PCR testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment with proper documentation.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
