Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our Dublin, OH team. The role operates Tuesday-Saturday, 4am-12:30pm with rotating Mondays and holidays, performing specimen handling, testing prep, data entry, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

You will maintain accuracy, follow SOPs, and contribute to safe, quality-focused outcomes while collaborating with a team and supporting daily operations. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
