Job summary

SCA Pharmaceuticals is a dynamic, growing FDA 503B outsourcing facility providing high quality medications across the United States. The Microbiology Analyst I will support the Microbiology Department with data processing and perform environmental microbiological testing, including filtration and daily laboratory housekeeping.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences and preferred laboratory experience, with a first shift of 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
• Laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform membrane filtration for sterility testing.
• Perform environmental monitoring (Viable Surface, Viable Air, Particulate Testing).
• Perform endotoxin testing.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Perform sample plate enumeration and media fill reads.
• Assist with laboratory inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain GMP compliance in all activities.
