Microbiology Analyst – Evening shift (Edenton, NC)

JLA International, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for an Administrative Support position at its facility in Edenton, NC.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A High School diploma or GED (required)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word)
• Experience with administrative and general support tasks
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in day-to-day interactions and communicate effectively
• A detail-oriented approach in handling all tasks (e.g., ability to organize large amounts of information and track multiple deadlines)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift, load & unload heavy packages

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Receive samples & ensure test(s) requested meet requirements
• Notify customers of discrepancies and/or missing paperwork
• Data entry into Laboratory Information Management System
• Assist with general office duties
• Willing to train as backup for Courier

  This is a full-time position in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30am to 3:30pm.
