Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Microbiology teaching field
  • Note: The College reserves the right to assign every employee work that fulfills the strategic priorities and mission of the College

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach classes as assigned and per course descriptions and syllabi.
  • Supervise students’ study and learning activities.
  • Request equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through the department head or lead teacher.
  • Evaluate students’ academic progress.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
  • Submit course grades and perform administrative duties as required.
  • Schedule two office hours and provide a plan if office hours cannot be scheduled during summer sessions.
