Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Microbiologist for a fully remote contract position in the United States. You will investigate microbial systems, assess antibiotic impacts, and document findings to support AI training data, ensuring rigorous scientific practices for AI-driven biology projects.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, contribute to disease-related microbiology studies, and maintain precise records for reproducibility in a digital-first environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of bacterial, fungal, and algal systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in investigating microbial structure and physiology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to document processes and findings clearly for integration into AI systems.
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote, digital-first environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy.
