Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Quality Control Analyst II – Microbial Control for the night shift at our Portsmouth, NH site. You will conduct microbiological testing on in-process, release, and stability samples and support environmental monitoring to ensure product safety and quality.

The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule and hands-on lab work adhering to cGMP standards. You will review results, document data, and participate in investigations when deviations occur, using laboratory systems to

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level laboratory experience or higher is not required but preferred.
• Experience in GMP or regulated laboratory environments is preferred.
• Ability to interpret data and identify trends or deviations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• High attention to detail and good organizational skills are required.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and strong documentation practices is preferred.
• Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and performing physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing for in-process, release, and stability samples.
• Support environmental and utility monitoring, including HVAC and facility sampling.
• Review and document test results in accordance with GMP and data integrity standards.
• Use laboratory systems and software to record and manage data.
• Identify deviations and support investigations when results fall outside expected ranges.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and data integrity requirements in all tasks.
• Participate in routine lab activities, including sample handling and documentation.
