Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a local contract School Psychologist (Certified) for Plymouth, MI, to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through comprehensive evaluations and collaborative student support services.

Responsibilities include psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results, report writing, and teamwork with educators and families to inform individualized education plans. Local contract, 40 hours/week, 41 weeks, shift 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist License and DOE Certification.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in K-12 settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' academic, cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Interpret assessment results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and provide recommendations to support individualized educational planning.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to review findings and support student success.
• Participate in eligibility determinations and contribute to student support planning in accordance with school and special education guidelines.
