Weatherby Healthcare seeks an OB/GYN for a staffed assignment in Marquette, MI. The role includes 24-hour in-house call coverage and a mix of obstetric and gynecologic duties, including high- and low-risk pregnancy management and delivery with various methods. The assignment covers office and surgical gynecology tasks with ultrasound interpretation, along with 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants and paid malpractice coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage
• Deliveries including C-section, breech, VBAC, multiple births
• Low and high risk pregnancy management
• Office gynecology procedures: IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery
• Surgical gynecology open procedures as required
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation

Job description

• 24-hour in-house call, all-inclusive
• Avg 4.3 patients per day -- 8 calls per day (55 per week)
• Low and high risk pregnancy management
• Deliveries include c-section, breech, VBAC, and multiple births
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations required
• Office gynecology -- IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery
• Surgical gynecology -- open procedures required
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation required
