Miami Head Start Program Aide (2025-2026)

TITLE OF POSITION: Program Aide

GENERAL SUMMARY OF WHAT THE POSITION DOES:

This position works as part of a team to assist in activities in the areas of the classroom, kitchen, and bus, and/or serve as a disabilities aide as needed. The role combines duties of classroom aide, janitor, kitchen aide, and disabilities aide, providing support for children with disabilities. Works with typically developing children and/or children with special needs. Receives technical support and training from the staff person responsible for center supervision, teacher, kitchen staff, and program managers.

REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum requirement is that the individual be 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or G.E.D.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $12 to $12 Per Hour
