Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Health in Waynesville, MO, seeks a Mental Health Technician for 12-hour shifts (days/nights). This full-time role supports patients with compassionate, personalized care, assists with daily living, and helps maintain a therapeutic environment.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 for day shifts is offered. Responsibilities include observing patient behavior, documenting observations, de-escalation, and potential physical interventions with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1+ years of healthcare, behavioral, or social services experience preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, overnight and weekend shifts.
• Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with patient interventions.

• Model and teach appropriate life skills to promote independent living.
• Escort patients and assist with daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Mental Health Technician at Perimeter Behavioral Health. In this role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to support the recovery and well‑being of individuals struggling with mental health or behavioral challenges.This full-time position involves working 12-hour shifts (7p-7a).Not able to commit to Full time?
