Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Perform reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment as designated above.


• Must possess the ability to cut weld and fabricate.


• Must be able to comprehend mechanical and electrical blueprints.


• Must be able to operate safely all equipment associated with the manufacturing and demolition of conveyor systems, including fabrication /welding, and conduit and wiring installation and demolition.


• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and construct mechanical and electrical systems including compressors, air lines, diverters, cylinders, switches, VFD’s , control devices, and systems.


• Must be proficient troubleshooting, repairing and installing electrical components with voltages from 12 volts DC to 480 volts AC.


• Must be proficient with all aspects of facilities repairs including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and concrete repair.


• Act as a liaison between LGSTX Services and contractors on maintenance, modifications, and operations of equipment required and do so in keeping with our value of providing excellence in customer service.


• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including working all shifts, weekends and some holidays as per our customers production schedules and requirements.


• Must provide supervision with written and oral reports within established timelines.


• Must demonstrate a professional attitude and look professional at all times.


• Must be able to work at elevated heights.


• Must be able to lift 65 lbs.


• Must inform your direct supervisor immediately of potential delays to schedules and time lines as they occur.


• Must possess flexibility with scheduling and tasks.


• Must keep all company equipment in the best possible condition.


• Be willing to work with other departments, companies, or personnel at any time


• Must report all unsafe practices or conditions to your supervisor immediately.


• Must look out for others safety and your own safety by applying accepted safety practices both on and off the work site.


• Must be willing to demonstrate any of the above items at any time.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.


• Must pass a required background and drug screen.


• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.


• Must have at least 5 years of verifiable prior work experience with industrial or commercial maintenance work as a maintenance technician or supervisor.


• Must be able to work independently of others.


• Must show proficiency of any of the above upon request.

Preferred

• 10 years of prior experience working in an environment of industrial or commercial maintenance as a maintenance technician or supervisor.


• Two years of formal approved technical training or schooling in industrial or commercial maintenance; to include mechanical, electrical, and Maximo proficient.


• Computer skills to include email and Microsoft office products such as Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel.
