Job summary

Pacific American Fish Co Inc is seeking an MHE Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will perform maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on material handling equipment and read electrical/hydraulic schematics to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities include engine tune-ups, component replacement, proper documentation, and adherence to safety policies. The role may involve mentoring apprentices and requires strong hands-on skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience or training in the industrial equipment repair field with current licenses.
• Experience with electrical systems, general equipment repair, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and servicing AC- and DC-powered equipment.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools necessary to perform maintenance and repair duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and troubleshooting on material handling equipment.
• Read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.
• Repair or replace major components, including circuit boards and hydraulic/mechanical/L.P. systems and engines.
• Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain repair order records.
• Assist with training apprentices through on-the-job training.
