Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed ionizing radiation safely at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. Per diem, day shift, at a Foxboro location when needed.

Must be ARRT certified and MA licensed; BLS required. Varian system experience preferred; strong focus on patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be certified and registered by ARRT and licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
• Completion of an American Medical Association approved Radiation Therapist training program.
• Experience with Varian Linear Accelerator, Varian MLC, Varian Portal Imaging and IMPAC Record and Verify System.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed dose of ionizing radiation safely and accurately according to the physician's treatment plan.

Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
• Completion of an American Medical Association approved Radiation Therapist training program

Pay Range

$38.55-$56.76
