Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Laboratory Support role at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. The position covers low complexity testing, specimen processing, data input, and point-of-care testing under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting in microbiology planting, coordinating supply orders, and supporting Histology and Cytology with processing and clerical tasks. Requires a high school diploma or GED, or 1 year of related lab experience.

  • Orders supplies for the laboratory and prepares supplies for doctor offices.
  • Performs low complexity testing in various departments.

  • Maintains inventory in department.
  • Assists Life Scan glucose meters when needed.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in computer tasks related to job responsibilities.

Education
  • High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of one year related experience in a laboratory work setting required.
Pay Range

$18.08-$26.34
