Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Fulfillment Associate to fill customer orders using a pick list and prepare shipments in the Market Hub Fulfillment Center. You will obtain merchandise from bins, ensure order accuracy, and assist with shipping and receiving while maintaining back stock.

Responsibilities include marking pallets, using lift equipment after training, picking and staging parts for deliveries, and replenishing inventory on shelves.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsible for filling store to customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards in a Market Hub Fulfillment Center. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves and ensures the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Will also be responsible for shipping and receiving inventory as well as maintaining back stock.Responsibilities• Marks pallets with identifying store information• Uses lift equipment as needed once training and certification are completed• Pick and stage parts for store deliveries• Replenish Inventory to shelves• Consistent, reliable attendance• Other related duties as assigned.Requirements• Being at least 18 years of age• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency• Eligible to work in the United States• Being able to work on various shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals• Preferred Skills• Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not requiredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
